Metropolitan College of New York (MCNY) is a higher-education institution chartered by the New York Board of Regents and accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE). 

MCNY is fully accredited. On June 25, 2026, MSCHE issued a Non-Compliance Warning to the College and has requested a monitoring report be issued on December 2, 2026, on the College's progress.

MCNY is actively addressing the concerns that resulted in the “show cause” status and looking toward being fully reaffirmed.
