Metropolitan College of New York (MCNY) is a higher-education institution chartered by the New York Board of Regents and accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE). While MCNY is in good-standing with NY, it has been placed on “show-cause” status by MSCHE, meaning that its accreditation status continues to fully remain in place while it is required to show why it should not be withdrawn. MCNY is actively addressing the concerns that resulted in the “show cause” status and working diligently towards being returned to full compliance.
